Telegraph Cruise 2026: Detroit's Rolling Time Machine Comes Down Telegraph Road

This Saturday, July 25, one of the longest stretches of steel and chrome in the Midwest fires up. The Telegraph Cruise rolls the length of Telegraph Road — from Redford, down through Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, into Taylor — and it's free, all day, all yours.

If you've never done it: this isn't a roped-off show field. It's a living cruise. Hundreds of cars and the people who love them line the road while the good stuff rolls by — muscle, hot rods, resto-mods, gassers, and survivors that still wear their factory paint like a badge. Folks start gathering the night before for the unofficial kickoff, so if you want the full flavor, get out early.

What you'll see

Every year Telegraph turns into a cross-section of American car culture. Numbers-matching classics parked fender-to-fender with driveway-built brawlers running ‘Hoosier Daddy’ slicks out back. A silver Ford GT idling next to a red Mustang. A clean '67 LeMans with the hood up, owner leaned against the fender telling the same story he's told a hundred times and loving every telling.
