Orders and Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.
When will I receive an order confirmation?
Immediately after checkout. Check your inbox and spam folder. Tracking information follows once your order ships.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us within 12 hours and we will do our best to help. Once production starts on a made-to-order item, changes may not be possible.
Is there a first-order discount?
Yes. Use code WELCOME10 at checkout for 10% off your first order, with no minimum purchase.
Shipping
Where do products ship from?
Apparel ships from our print partner's US fulfillment centers. Model kits and supplier-fulfilled products ship from the applicable vendor warehouse.
How long does delivery take?
Apparel normally requires 3 to 7 business days for production. Model kits normally require 1 to 3 business days for processing. Standard US shipping generally takes 5 to 10 business days after processing. Supplier-fulfilled products may have different estimates listed on their product pages.
Do you ship internationally?
Not currently. We ship within the United States.
Will I receive tracking?
Yes. We will email a tracking link when your order ships. Allow up to 24 hours for tracking activity to appear.
Products and Sizing
How does the apparel fit?
Fit varies by garment. Review the size chart and fit notes on the individual product page before ordering.
What print method do you use?
Most DRC apparel uses DIGISOFT, a print process that combines qualities of direct-to-garment and direct-to-film printing for detailed color, durability, and a soft feel.
Are DRC designs original?
Yes. DRC-branded designs are original artwork created for Detroit Rod and Custom. The store also carries curated products from supplier partners and established manufacturers.
Where are products made?
Apparel is printed and fulfilled in the United States. Model kits and supplier products are manufactured by the brands identified on each product page.
Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Eligible unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery when they are in original condition and original packaging. Final-sale items are not eligible. Review the full Refund Policy before starting a return.
What if my order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Email returns@detroitrodandcustom.com with your order number and clear photos. We will help arrange a replacement or refund.
Can I exchange apparel for a different size?
Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. Submit a return request for an eligible item, then place a new order for the preferred size.
Model Car Kits
Are the kits new and sealed?
Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, kits are sold new and factory sealed.
Which brands, scales, and skill levels do you carry?
The selection changes and includes multiple manufacturers, scales, and skill levels. Check each product listing for the exact brand, scale, skill level, and included parts.
Are paint and glue included?
Usually not. Review the product description for requirements before ordering.
