SHIPPING POLICY

Detroit Rod and Custom ships across the United States. Here's how it works.

PROCESSING TIME

Apparel (print on demand): 3 to 7 business days for production before your order ships. Each item is made to order, no warehouses full of unsold gear.

Model car kits: 2 to 3 business days for processing and shipping.

SHIPPING TIME (after processing)

Standard US shipping: 3 to 5 business days
Total time from order to delivery: typically 6 to 12 business days for apparel, 5 to 8 for model kits.

SHIPPING RATES

Calculated at checkout based on order size and destination.

TRACKING

You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. If you don't see it within the processing window, check your spam folder, then contact us.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Currently US only. International shipping is on the roadmap. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know.

DELAYS

We do our best to hit every estimate, but carriers have bad days. If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we'll chase it down.

ADDRESS ERRORS

Double-check your shipping address before placing the order. We can't reroute packages once they ship. If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, we'll reach out to arrange reshipment (additional shipping cost may apply).

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We want you stoked on your DRC gear. Here's how returns work.

THE QUICK VERSION

Damaged, defective, or wrong item: free replacement, on us.
Change of mind on print-on-demand apparel: not eligible (it's made just for you).
Model car kits: returnable if unopened and in original packaging.

PRINT-ON-DEMAND APPAREL

Every shirt, hoodie, and tank is made to order. Because nothing sits in inventory, we can't accept returns for size changes, color preferences, or buyer's remorse. Use the size chart on each product page before ordering.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we'll replace it free of charge.

To start a claim:
1. Email us through the Contact page within 14 days of delivery
2. Include your order number
3. Send clear photos of the issue

We'll send a replacement once verified. No need to ship the original back unless we ask.

MODEL CAR KITS

Unopened, undamaged kits in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund (less original shipping). Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged.

Opened kits, started builds, or kits with missing parts are not eligible for return.

DAMAGED MODEL KITS

If your model kit arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days with photos. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.

REFUND TIMING

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after we process it.

NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

Discount codes and promotional gifts are not refundable. Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error.
